These two leaders will plan and coordinate international mission trips (Belize, Guatemala, Sri Lanka, Rome, and more), train and manage 500+ prayer ministers from 50+ Encounter Satellite Schools, oversee in-country logistics and teams, develop new mission locations, and build partnerships that expand the reach of the Gospel. $275,000 to fund the Director of Missions and Associate Director of Missions positions for Encounter Missions. These two full-time leaders will oversee and expand the growing mission of Encounter Ministries by:

  • Planning and coordinating every aspect of international mission trips for multiple teams traveling to locations such as Belize, Guatemala, Sri Lanka, Rome, and beyond.

  • Vetting, training, and managing more than 500 prayer minister volunteers from 30 Encounter Satellite Schools across the country.

  • Providing leadership, management, and on-the-ground coordination of logistics, administrators, and translators while in country.

  • Strategically identifying and piloting new international mission locations.

  • Developing synergistic partnerships within each country to expand the reach of the Gospel and serve more people through the power of the Holy Spirit.

  • Sri Lanka

    Healing Mission | August 4-12, 2026

    Registration is OPEN — In August 2026, Encounter Missions is sending missionaries to Sri Lanka for the very first time, marking a new chapter in our international mission efforts. From August 4-12, teams will partner with local Catholic communities to host healing services, minister in schools and parishes, and offer an Encounter Weekend Intensive designed to release the transforming power of the Holy Spirit.

    Missionaries will spend four days in active ministry before gathering together for a retreat filled with worship, sacraments, cultural immersion, and fellowship. The mission seeks to bring healing, hope, and renewal to the Catholic faithful in Sri Lanka, while equipping them to continue ministering in their daily lives. At the same time, each missionary will encounter fresh outpourings of grace, grow in confidence, and return home transformed, ready to release the Kingdom of God in their own communities.

  • Guatemala

    Healing Mission | November 3-10, 2026

    Registration is OPEN — In November 2026, Encounter Missions will go to Guatemala, partnering with Catholic parishes and communities across the country. Missionaries will minister in local churches, schools, and neighborhoods through healing services, evangelization, and an Encounter Weekend Intensive. After several days of active ministry, all teams will come together for a retreat filled with worship, sacraments, cultural immersion, and fellowship.

    The mission’s goal is to bring healing, hope, and empowerment to the Catholic faithful of Guatemala, equipping them to live Spirit-filled lives and share the Gospel with confidence. At the same time, participants will encounter personal renewal, deepen their intimacy with the Lord, and return home with fresh grace to release the Kingdom of God in their own communities.

  • Belize

    Healing Mission | February 2-9, 2027

    Registration is OPEN — From February 2–9, 2027, Encounter Missions is returning to Belize, partnering with Catholic parishes and local communities throughout the nation. Missionaries will serve in churches, schools, and neighborhoods through healing services, evangelization, and an Encounter Weekend Intensive. After several days of active ministry, all teams will gather for a retreat centered on worship, the sacraments, cultural immersion, and fellowship.

    The mission’s goal is to bring healing, hope, and empowerment to the Catholic faithful of Belize, equipping them to live Spirit-filled lives and share the Gospel with confidence. At the same time, participants will experience personal renewal, deepen their intimacy with the Lord, and return home with fresh grace to release the Kingdom of God in their own communities. This will be Encounter Missions’ 4th trip to Belize.
