    Guatemala

    Healing Mission
    November 3-10, 2026

    Registration is OPEN — In November, Encounter Missions returns to the mountains and parishes of Guatemala. Teams fan out into churches, schools, and neighborhoods, ministering through healing services, street ministry, and large revival nights before gathering for a retreat to be filled back up before returning home.

    Belize

    Healing Mission
    February 2-9, 2027

    Registration is OPEN — Belize is where this ministry began, and in February 2027 we return for our fourth trip. The goal is to leave the Belizean faithful stronger, more confident, and ready to share the Gospel on their own. You will leave stronger too, renewed in intimacy with the Lord and ready to release the Kingdom wherever you live.

    Tanzania

    Healing Mission
    March 2-10, 2027

    Registration is OPEN – Encounter's first mission to Tanzania puts teams at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, serving alongside the Dioceses of Arusha and Moshi. Ministry moves across both dioceses through healing services, evangelization, and the formation of local Catholic leaders, so the work continues after the team flies home.

    April 12-21, 2027

    Registration Coming Soon! We will be sending teams into a city of seven million stacked between mountain and sea, where a small Catholic Church has held the faith through decades of upheaval. Ministry happens close to the ground here: parish halls, apartment towers, small rooms with the windows open. You will pray with people for healing and pour into local leaders who keep going long after your flight home.

  • Sri Lanka

    June 6-16, 2027

    Registration Coming Soon! Join the second mission to the beautiful island country of Sri Lanka, where a faithful Catholic community lives out its devotion as a small minority. Through parish and school healing services, street ministry, and homebound visits, our teams will pray in faith and witness the glory of God fall on His children with signs and wonders. You will stand alongside local leaders and strengthen the local Church.

    Mexico

    Inner Healing Mission
    August 3-11, 2027

    Registration Coming Soon! For this specialized mission, teams will serve at a network of orphanages and foster homes caring for more than 250 girls, from infants to young women up to age 25. Trained volunteers will walk beside these girls in inner-healing ministry, intercessory prayer, and spiritual formation, so each one knows she is seen, protected, and loved by God.

      • Encounter Missions exists to reveal the heart of the Father by ministering the healing love of Jesus to the nations. This happens through a variety of evangelistic and pastoral ministry opportunities.

        Missionaries are sorted into teams of 6-12 and sent to a specific part of the host country for 4-5 days of intense, beautiful ministry. Teams can expect to minister in the following ways:

        • Home visits to pray for the sick in local communities

        • Street evangelization and outreach in high foot-traffic areas and public spaces

        • Parish healing services where people can encounter Jesus’ healing love in the local parish setting

        • Youth and school healing services for students, faculty and staff in Catholic school settings

        • Youth revival events that invite the younger generations into deeper faith

        • Ministry training seminars for parish priests, clergy, and lay leaders in the community

        Our heart is simple: to bless every part of the community and strengthen the local Church for ongoing mission.

      • Encounter Missions is willing to send 20 to 150 trained missionaries depending on the needs and opportunities in the region.

        Every missionary needs to have completed at least the first year of the Encounter School of Ministry, where they are trained and equipped to:

        • Share the Gospel clearly and confidently

        • Pray with others for healing and freedom

        • Listen to the Holy Spirit in ministry

        • Serve the local Church with humility and faith

        Our missionaries come ready to serve, support, and build up what God is already doing in local communities throughout the world.

      • Most Encounter Missions trips last 7–10 days.

        To maximize the impact of the mission, our larger team is typically divided into smaller ministry teams of 6-12 people that are sent to specific regions, cities, or parishes within the country.

        This approach allows us to:

        • Reach more people

        • Serve multiple communities

        • Work closely with local parishes and leaders

        • Create lasting relationships within the local Church

        Our goal is always to partner with local communities in a way that strengthens and encourages their ongoing mission.

      • Encounter Missions goes where we are invited and welcomed by the local Church. We only conduct missions with the permission and blessing of the local ordinary (cardinal, archbishop, bishop, or diocesan administrator).

        We only go to locations where there is significant support from local priests and clergy. Many of our ministry events—especially healing services and trainings—take place in parishes and on church property per the invitation of local priests.

        We also rely on trusted local leaders to help coordinate logistics, communicate with parishes, and prepare communities to receive the mission.

        • Pray about the possibility

        • Speak with local priests and ministry leaders

        • Begin conversations with your bishop or diocesan leadership
